On his return, he bought the yard from Alexander Smart and renamed it A R Cruickshank Monumental Sculptor. Joined by his son Gordon in 1964, the business grew over the coming years supplying and erecting memorials much further afield than Keith itself.
In 1993, the business was moved to its present location at 107-109 Moss Street, Keith. In 2005 Gordon’s son, Jamie joined the business as Monumental Mason / Letter Cutter, 80 years after his grandfather started his. We are proud to be in our third generation of Monumental Sculptors.
